He kept pawing at the beehive, all the while thinking how much easier it would be to just zap the tree branch with fire or lightning. It sucked that he couldn’t use any of his magic spells here. But then again, it would have been overkill. He already could kill most of the humans with little effort. If they didn’t have their precious weapons to protect them, then they would be even easier to eliminate.
Snap!
The twig holding the beehive to the branch finally broke, sending it falling down toward the ground. The beehive hit the man on the head, and then split open next to him. Swarms of bees burst out of their hive and buzzed angrily around who they thought to be the culprit.
As he yelled and cursed and eventually ran away, the kyawl rolled around the tree branch, way too amused by the hysterics.
